Spending Time

The other day someone said to me, “You can go bother…er…spend time with someone else for a while. That would be just great.”

I take that as a compliment, because they meant I can both spend time with and do great things for someone. That’s what I think they meant. Maybe they said it differently than I would, but I know what they were trying to say, even if they don’t speak quite as ultra-eloquently-like and non-unclearly as I do.

When you spend time with someone, I believe they usually seem to like it. What I mean is that they truly appreciate your company. In other words, people like people. Another way to say that is that spending time with someone—friend, family member, or even a person you’ve just met—is a great way to spend time. What I’m getting at is that you should try it.

So, go out and find a friend. Make one if you have to. I don’t mean make one make one—like out of mud or marshmallow fluff or something—but make a new friend. Spend good moments with them. Get to know them. Let them get to know you.

It’s a great way to spend time, and it doesn’t cost a thing. See how I did that…spend…cost? With all of my wittiness, who wouldn’t want to be my friend?

(Uhhh…don’t answer that.)
