Have you ever had a cold?
I mean, really had a cold? Of course you have. Well, at least, you probably have. Most of us have, if not all. I think. I’m pretty sure of it. Yes. Who knows…you may even have one now. If so, so sorry to hear that.
As I write this, I have a cold. An unpleasant, annoying, frustratingly rip-roaring cold. The fact of the matter is that I dot a toad and I’m all tuffed up (translation, if absolutely necessary: “I got a cold and I’m all stuffed up”). And, it’s one for the ages.
Well, maybe not quite that bad, but it is quite annoying. And rip-roaring. Nose-runningly, ear-achingly, throat-soreingly, lung-sneezingly unpleasant. And now I’m getting a frog in my throat. What’s with the amphibians?
Rol said it’s a good time for me to learn something. Maybe patience. Steadfastness, too. Or even humility. I really don’t want to learn anything…I just want to get better. If you have a cold at the moment you know what I mean.
But, I’ll take Rol’s advice and be patient.
. . .
. . .
(those dots are me waiting)
. . .
. . .
OK. I’m done being patient. For the record: Why can’t patience happen more quickly?
I mean…you get it. What’s in it for me? I get to wait? I get to learn patience? I don’t get exactly everything I want, exactly when I want it, which is exactly right now?
Trying to be patient is not one of the easiest things to do, especially when I’ve got things to do…and I dot a toad.
But…if Rol says it’s good for me, I’ll try.
Aah aah aah choo should try it, too.
