Don’t Wash Your Clothes

Posted By Kearth on Apr 22, 2020

I’m just kidding. You need clean clothes. So just clean your clothes, stop complaining so much and trying to read posts to find a way out of doing what you should, and don’t avoid things that are good for you.

Which is what this is about. I wanted to get your attention with the enticing title and know that I did because you are reading this. It’s called mind control, but that is a story for another day.

Today I want to talk about not avoiding things that are good for you. Why? Because it has been a hobby of mine to avoid things that are good for you (and me) and I realized the other day when I was avoiding things that are good for you (and me) that I shouldn’t avoid things that are good for you (and me).

I could stop there. But I won’t.

An example is washing your clothes. Just clean your clothes, stop complaining so much and trying to read posts to find a way out of doing what you should, and don’t avoid things that are good for you. Didn’t you hear me the first time?

Another example is eating good food. If someone is serving you food and says something like, “Would you like more green on your plate?” and you pull your plate back so they don’t serve anything else that is green, you shouldn’t do that. Not so fast. Unless it’s clearly a green, squirmy creature-thing, with a tentacle that reaches out for you, and then it’s ok. But if they want to make sure you are healthy by serving more green beans, or green broccoli, or green peas, or green asparagus, or green salad, or green treerjkna-grass (unless it’s the rash-inducing variety), or green celery, or even turnip greens, then just smile and proudly hold out your plate, and wolf down that greenie goodness.

You’ll thank me. But I really don’t need your thanks. Really.

But I’ll take it.

Really.
